A Peek at Our Wedding Shower Location
I'd originally planned to have my bridal shower at a boutique hotel...a sort of girls night and some spa time, but then I completely fell in love with this cupcake shop that my fiance and I discovered after an event downtown. Pinkitzel Cupcakes & Candy is by far the most girly candy and cupcake shop I've ever seen - perfect for a bridal shower.
There are several parts to Pinkitzel; including the candy and gift shop, the dessert bar filled with cupcakes and chocolates and macarons as well as coffee, a cafe area to eat those yummy treats, and a private room for parties and events. The party room (pictured above), otherwise known as the Society Room, as it turns out is available for booking adult parties.
It is a little on the pricey side, but considering their packages include invites, set up, cupcakes, and boxed party favors; I'd say it's totally worth it. Besides, they have macarons! Like, the best macarons I've ever had and available in so many amazing flavors, like Earl Grey! I'm so thankful to my Maid of Honor and longtime bff Jess for hosting it.
We're going to doing it as a couple's or Jack & Jill shower, because my Maid of Honor asked what I would enjoy the most for my day, and well, as an extremely family-oriented person and someone who is crazy about my fiance; I would enjoy nothing more than it being a celebration with my closest friends and my soon-to-be husband who truly is my very best friend.
