KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend!! If you've had a hectic week like my husband and I have (or if you're dealing with the recent snowstorm) grab a cup of coffee, get comfy, and enjoy some major retail therapy. This week's Friday Finds is just the thing for some serious online shopping. I was honestly running late with this post, because I got distracted browsing through all of the products available in each shop. There are so many great finds and a sweet, personal touch to each brand. Enjoy! :) Pictured above: Black Polka Dot Print Crossbody Bag by Sudden Inspiration

The first featured store is Sudden Inspiration, a shop that sells the cutest hand-crafted bags. You can find everything from cosmetics bags and wristlets to roomy crossbody bags. The designs pair faux leather with beautiful prints and colors. As I clicked around and noticed all of the bright florals, modern neutrals, and boho-chic tribal prints; I found myself wondering where the vision behind this brand comes from. Owner Melis…

Our Wedding Invitation Suite

Happy Wedding Wednesday! :) I'm very excited to share today's wedding blog. If you follow on Instagram, you know that my fiance and I received our wedding invitations from Wedding Paper Divas last week, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Ken and I both have the same taste for the most part, so we were both interested in floral invitations, and even then we both had the same favorite out of ten invitation samples. We also both like things with an old-world feel, so the wax seal was a no-brainer. Getting a wax seal stamper with a rose design was very intentional, as roses hold sentimental meaning for us. It did take some practice (combined with a few potty words and nearly setting off my smoke alarm) to get the hang of it, so I will definitely do a tutorial post on the wax sealing.

The only thing you really can't see in these photos that I wish you could is how beautiful the invitation card stock is. It's more of an off-white with a slightly golden-tone shimmer. It goes beautifully with the shades of red.

I was very happy with Wedding Paper Divas in particular. They offer a lot of designs to begin with, and those designs each come with an extremely high level of customization if you need it. And they offer so many different paper, color, and font options. They also offer countless add-ons; like return-address printing, envelope liners, and matching reception items like menu cards and place cards.

This whole wedding planning process has been just like everything else in my relationship with Ken. Everything flows naturally and despite little challenges that get thrown at us here and there, everything still manages to turn out more beautifully than we'd hoped for.
