KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! And most importantly, Happy Friday 13th! We absolutely love Halloween in our family, so a Friday 13th in October is basically another day to celebrate the holiday. It's like THE ultimate day for a scary movie night, right?!

We haven't decided which one yet, but we are considering of course a Friday 13th movie, though I'm sure there will be plenty of scary movies on TV and streaming to pick from. One thing is for sure, we are totally going to watch the new LORE anthology on Amazon. But first, let's grab a cup of coffee and look at some amazing new Friday finds! Pictured: Skull Candle Holder

Naturally I have some Halloween picks for you guys today. The first is one of my favorite things for Halloween decor - a skull. Either one pictured above is perfect for a spooky Halloween centerpiece. It's hard to say which is my favorite.

I love how the first skull candle holder looks with the red candle dripping down, though I also love that the Plaster S…

DIY Save the Dates with Vistaprint

I wasn't sure about how I wanted our wedding invitations to look until Ken and I picked out some samples from Wedding Paper Divas, and they turned out so beautiful. But for the Save the Date cards, I had something very specific in mind.

Whether you're after a very specific and personal look, or if you're simply on a budget, using an online printing company like Vistaprint and uploading your own background image is totally the way to go!

If you aren't handy with a camera, use a photo of you and your fiance. On the other hand, if you are good with a camera, try a collage of things that hold sentimental value. I used a few prints, red roses, and mementos from our dates to create a flat lay that reflected the time we spent getting to know each other and falling in love.

If you're picky with design, like I am, you can opt to upload your own design completely. For example, rather than using their templates with a background image, you can place text over your image before you upload it to Vistaprint.

You can add on lots of fun coordinating items like sticker seals for the envelopes, labels for wedding favors, and address labels.

As you can see above, our wedding is next month!! I'm so excited to marry my favorite person and to finally be able to call the man I love my husband.:)
