25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. Editor's Picks: Cozy Ornaments

Whether you're the type of person who is a firm believer in putting the tree up after Thanksgiving, or the kind who has it up weeks before; it's a great time to start shopping around for ornaments. All of the shops have their lovely displays out for the holidays. We're definitely getting our tree up soon!

Does your family use the same year after year, or do you like to switch it up by theme? Or perhaps you like to add a few new ones each year. Personally I've done all of the above. But this year, we're blended, celebrating our first Christmas as a family. Last year was our first Christmas together, but this year, it's the first one all together in the same home, so we plan to add on several new things and look forward to making new memories each year going forward.

Plaid Sparkle Ball Ornament

This past weekend we bought a few new ones from Pottery Barn, including this Christmas sweater ornament and a pretty paid ones pictured above. I also have several clear ball ornaments that I'm going to fill with the rose petals I saved from the bouquet he gave me on our second date.💓🌝 Pictured: Pottery Barn Fair Isle Christmas Sweater Ornament  //  Pottery Barn Plaid Sparkle Ball Ornament

Ken and I both seem to gravitate towards a good mix of traditional and modern when it comes to Christmas decor. We both like some sparkle, we both like plaid, and we both like traditional as well as fun new pieces. Pottery Barn and Target tend to have holiday decorations that we both love, and of course there are plenty of these items on Amazon as well.
