3 Cute and Comfy Holiday Looks

We all want to look our best for those holiday dinners, but comfort is also very important. It's a time to indulge in yummy food and fun cocktails! My go-to tends to be skinny jeans with some cute boots and a nice sweater. If you have a holiday dinner to attend with friends or perhaps a significant other, here are some cute ways, featuring Yoins, to dress up a little while still feeling comfortable and with plenty of breathing room for the yummy dinner!

It's so easy to create a pretty holiday look if you start with a fashion blouse for women. A nice blouse or knit top can go with anything from jeans or leggings to dressy pants or a skirt. So you can easily take the look from casual to dressy, especially if you add on some jewelry.

If you practically live in leggings, this long-sleeve asymmetrical hem top is perfect! It's nice and roomy, but has a nice detail with the side buttons. And you can dress it up a bit with a long pendant necklace.

Snapshots from the Week

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your December is off to a great start! There is something so magical about the holidays. Christmas lights are twinkling, we celebrate the ones we love, and something as simple as hot cocoa and a movie night in becomes a special occasion.

Of course, I have a very special occasion coming up this month...in just a few weeks to be exact. Ken and I are getting married on the 18th, and I am so excited.:) Our daughter Kylie snapped a few engagement pics at our wedding location, Dresser Mansion. This shot is one of my favorites, though I'll get them all on the wedding blog next week.

Though we're making it official this month, we have been functioning as a blended family already this year and had our first family Thanksgiving together in our home. It was such a special day for us. I can't wait for Christmas.:)

Over the weekend we went to the Lights On event at Utica Square and took the kids to see the Festival at Philbrook. Needless to say, both were gorgeous.

We've had our tree up for weeks, and given how much we love Christmas, I think it's safe to say that it will become a tradition for us to put it up at least a week before Thanksgiving every year. The rose petal ornament pictured above is one that I made this year. You can see the DIY post for it here.

Of course I couldn't miss the Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix. Though Ken hadn't seen previous seasons as much as I have, he watched all four parts of the new one with me over the holiday weekend. Can't they just bring the show back permanently??

And the Christmas movies have begun.:) We watched one of my favorites, Nation Lampoon's Christmas Vacation; and I'm definitely wanting to watch Elf, Fred Claus, The Grinch, and a few others. What are some of your favorite Christmas movies? Let me know in the comments below, and have a happy holiday weekend!!
