KCL Big Fall Beauty Edit

Welcome! The monthly KCL beauty edit for October is the big Fall Beauty Edit, and I'm so excited to share these seasonal beauty picks with you! From chakra essential oil rollers to the most beautiful and bold liquid lipsticks, you'll find much more than just pumpkin spice on this Fall beauty guide (though of course there is a little pumpkin spice!).

I don't know about you guys, but this is my favorite time of the year when it comes to beauty and fashion. Fabrics are cozy, and the colors are more dark and more rich. Darker sexy shades as well as bold jewel tones and shimmery metallics dominate in beauty as much as they do in fashion. And the warm comforting spices in Autumn cooking have made their way into all sorts of skincare and bodycare. Whether you need some Fall gift ideas or simple want to switch up your beauty routine for the season, you'll find everything you could want below. Enjoy!

One of the makeup trends I'm most excited about year after year is Fall n…

Pinkitzel Cupcakes and Candy

This is, I believe, my third time to blog about Pinkitzel Tulsa, including our wedding shower. Everytime we go back there, I just can't help taking a ton of pictures. I adore this place from the decor to the sweets and every single gift item for sale. There is so much to see (and taste) there. Ken and I recently went back with our kids.

They've added a few things to the decor since the last time we were there. Behind the counter there is now a big marquee sign that says Pinkitzel, as well as giant macarons dangling from the ceiling.

It is so much more than just a candy shop. You can get cupcakes, truffles, and macarons in so many different flavors. For our wedding shower there, we had strawberry lemonade cupcakes that were so delicious. This time Ken got a salted caramel chocolate cupcake, and I got my favorite Earl Grey macarons. I also like the espresso and raspberry ones.

I also noticed this last time we were there, an insanely yummy looking display cake. I thought it was just that - a display - to go along with all of the other candy-themed decor. Upon editing my photos and taking another look at their website, I found that Pinkitzel has added candy-covered Drip Cakes to the menu. These are available for special order for, as you would guess, a special occasion.

In addition to the sweets, there are so many fun gift items to look through. And there is a cute cafe area if you want to sit and eat your treats there, with some coffee of course.

There are currently two different locations for Pinkitzel - one in OKC and one downtown Tulsa. If you're near either store, you absolutely have to give it a try the next time you're craving something sweet!
