KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to KCL Friday Finds! Today's shopping guide is full of affordable beauty-themed stocking stuffers. Don't get me wrong, I love to get candy and chocolates in my stocking, but I also love other gifts, like a cute new pair of socks and especially little beauty products.

A beauty stocking stuffer doesn't have to cost a lot. Between individual sheets masks and bath bombs  to lip balm and nail polish, you can find so many great options under $10. Several options below are even under $5.

The most universal of stocking stuffers, aside from candy, is lip balm. When given as a gift, go with something more luxurious than a Cherry Chapstick from the grocery store. My favorite lip balms at Bua Organics are all-natural and organic and come in options like Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil. For a moisturizing lip balm with the addition of a fun scent, try Einstein Bath Co., for flavors like Sangria, Marshmallow, and Pink Frosting.

A wonderful way to give a luxury beauty…

My Top Picks for Spring

March is the perfect time to transition from winter to the warmer months. It is here in the Midwest anyway. It's still chilly here and there, but the trees are beginning to bloom. I've caught the spring cleaning bug lately, have you?

If you have begun to clean and purge; it's also time to add some new things that bring you joy. Add a few fun, trendy pieces to your wardrobe. Add something chic for organization, like these gorgeous Kate Spade cheetah-print stacking boxes. Grab a new book to give you inspiration. And don't forget, find something pretty to liven up your space, even if it's a simple bouquet of flowers or some chic office supplies, like these pretty pens. For some chic inspiration, I can think of no better book that Capture Your Style by Aimee Song. I've placed a few others in the full edit, like Kate Spade's All in Good Taste and 52 Lists for Happiness: Weekly Journaling Inspiration for Positivity, Balance, and Joy; but especially if you're a blogger or instagrammer (and like pretty, girly things), Aimee's book is the one to get.

One of my favorite trends for spring is the statement sleeve. From off-the-shoulder to bell sleeves to the long ruffle sleeves pictured above, this is a trend I definitely plan to try this spring. Which spring trends are you looking forward to the most?

    With love,

    1. I love it too! It's so pretty, I can't believe it's only $21!

  8. I have been seeing that capture your style book everywhere and now I really want to read it

    1. Me too! It looks like a great read with lots of visual inspiration.

  9. Love the pastel inspiration theme you have going on here! So perfect for spring!

  10. Still chilly even here but I checked out Target yesterday and they had some cute spring items. I purchased a foldable imitation straw hat and love it. The cute bohemian knock-offs were made of rayon though and I don't like buying rayon because the clothes don't last. I don't mind polyester and love silk or cotton blends but rayon- no thanks. I'll be checking out Kohls soon. Like ypur style and love those baggy jeans at the top but doubt anyone would have my size.

    1. We've been having a lot of days in the 70s but still cold in the morning, so definitely needing layers. I love the new stuff at Target and Kohl's too, Eve. Those embroidered jeans at the top are going to be a big trend this year so they should become more available in all sizes and price points!
