KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, guys!! I am super excited to share some new Friday Finds with you! It's a bit of a mix, as we all seem to be anticipating Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all at once now. Though I'm trying my hardest to live in the moment with pumpkins and autumn decor. I know after Halloween, everyone will be all about Christmas, but we should slow down and enjoy the harvest decor up to Thanksgiving, don't you think? As always, there are a few printables in the mix for last-minute decor, as well as some products for my fellow wine lovers, and some more awesome discounts that were created just for you Friday Finds readers!! 🙂🍂 So you know the drill, grab a cup of coffee and sit down for a break, so you can relax and browse these amazing shops.

First let's kick things off with this week's featured candle. I just have to feature a candle each week. It's the perfect season to cozy up with a good book and flickering candle light. A scented candle is also th…

Checking In: Staybridge Suites

http://www.krisztinaclifton.com/2017/04/checking-in-staybridge-suites.html

The first thing I thought when Ken and I entered our suite at Stayrbridge Woodland Hills was that it reminded me of the Mayo downtown. It's sleek and modern with all the comforts you need for an extended stay-cation.

I say this every time on these hotel review posts, in case there is a new reader...get out of the house! As a married couple, it's extra relaxing and romantic to spend time together somewhere that you don't have to clean up after yourself and don't have to deal with your usual daily responsibilities and distractions. All you're there for is to relax and enjoy spending time together.

Staybridge was perfect for that. We tend to have nice dates out during our hotel nights, but this time we were both thinking that staying in and actually enjoying the hotel would be best. And it certainly was a great place for that. There is a kitchenette and everything you need to prep and enjoy your meals in the room. There are a few complimentary snacks, like microwave popcorn and the usual coffee and tea. There were even fancy wine glasses, and we had just happened to bring a bottle of wine with us.🙂🍷

The lobby and restaurant area is beautiful too, though we just enjoyed the room.:) But if you're traveling alone or with friends, it looked like a nice place to grab a bite and socialize.

Ken and I of course were just there to spend time with each other. We enjoyed the separate living room area in the suite while we ate dinner, had some snacks and watched Friends reruns on T.V. Though the T/V. could be seen from bed too, so later in the evening, we climbed into bed and got comfy while we watched a good movie. It was one of the best stays we've had so far.

  1. You know, Eddie and I have talked about doing this, but have never actually taken a staycation before. I think it's such a great idea, like you've said, you can really spend quality time together without any stress of your daily to-do's. This hotel seems lovely and the fact that you decided to dine in says a lot about how much you loved the ambiance and overall feel of the hotel; I'm sure the food was delish! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you're having a great week so far!
