KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend!! I've got another round up of beautiful home decor items for you guys today. It hasn't been intentional, it just so happens that the Friday Finds participants have all been home decor shops lately, and I'm loving it! With Spring coming up soon, it's the perfect time to spruce things up around the house and update your decor for the new season. Pictured: Geometric Pineapple Jewelry Holder/Home Accessory

First up is something we could all use more of in our homes - hygge by Snygge Home (pronounced snoo-gue). Snygge is a play on the danish word hygge that I'm sure you've heard of by now...or at least seen and thought what is hygge anyway? Hygge is "a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being." You can read more about it on Hygge Home.

At Snygge Home, owner Alice and her boyfriend Jack create hygge-inspired homeware, gifts, and event decorations using 3D printing. And like most E…

Snapshots from the Week

Happy weekend!! I hope you all had a very lovely week! I'm ready for the weekend, as usual. I love to get extra time with my husband and to get a bit of a break from the computer and housework. I know Ken is ready for a break after his crazy long work week.

We had such a lovely time last weekend. We saw Ghost in the Shell and were both surprised at just how good it is. We knew we would like it, but I don't think either of us expected it to be quite as great as it was. Definitely recommend it!

The day before, we took the kiddos to see Beauty and the Beast. Also a very good movie that I highly recommend if you haven't seen it already.

For some time with just each other, Ken took me out to dinner at Mexicali's downtown and we enjoyed a nice walk around the Brady District. I love all of the red brick down there. It was my first time to eat at Mexicali's, and it was so yummy! We walked off the Mexican food and went to the Center of the Universe. It's this place downtown Tulsa, which if you're a local reader, I'm sure you've heard of it. I'd heard of it but for some reason had never actually stood on the spot where you can hear a loud echo whenever you talk. You've gotta have a bit of fun and adventure in your dating life.

We ended our date with coffee at Utica Square and found that all of the tulips are blooming. It was absolutely gorgeous, and Ken waited so patiently while a took about a gazillion pics. You can see those pics in one of the links below, along with the other new posts from the week. Feel free to keep up with us this weekend on Instagram, and enjoy your weekend!!🙂
