25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. Snapshots from the Week

Happy holiday weekend! Whether you're celebrating Easter or not, I can see on Instagram that a lot of you got a long holiday weekend, so enjoy! My kids are all too old to hunt Easter eggs, so I'll save my usual spring dinner for May Day this year.

Last weekend we spent a day in OKC, where we enjoyed the Bricktown Riverwalk and the Myriad Gardens. I loved looking at the silly ducks and geese, and we had a nice lunch at Bourbon Street Cafe. You can see some of my pics from Bricktown here >.

We also went to Springfest at the garden center in Tulsa. It wasn't quite what we expected, but it was nice to see inside the beautiful building again and to walk around the Linnaeus gardens. Apparently they have a garden cat strolling around just like the ones at Philbrook. Things are all finally blooming in Tulsa. It's the perfect time to stop by Philbrook or Utica, or to see the azaleas at Woodward Park.

I am wrapping things up here and getting ready to go out with my husband. We're switching things up a bit and going to a baseball game tonight. I'm not one for sports; but I am one for brats, beer, hanging with my guy, and watching the fireworks! As always, feel free to catch up with us on Instagram, and have a great weekend!!
