3 DIY Exfoliating Facial Masks

Exfoliating is one of the most important steps when it comes to skincare. As we age, the skin doesn't naturally exfoliate as often, so it needs a little help. The immediate benefit to exfoliating is that it removes dead skin and encourages skin cell renewal, for younger looking skin. If you incorporate an exfoliating scrub into your skincare regimen once a week, the long term benefits include a reduction of dark spots, scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. Snapshots from the Week

Happy weekend!! I hope you guys had a great week. We've had crazy thunderstorms all day here in Tulsa, so my poor German Shepherd has been trying to hide in my bathroom all day. I'm just hoping the rain lingers for this evening, when it's time to snuggle on the couch with Ken and watch T.V.

Last Friday night we went to a Driller's baseball game, and it didn't take long before Ken noticed that I was a little bored, and he wasn't really enjoying it either. So we left! Gotta hand it to the guy...he is always looking to improve things, including dates. Our time was better spent at home with some yummy drinks.

Saturday I unfortunately had a terrible migraine all day, but this Yogi tea with ginger worked wonders and allowed me to at least enjoy some time with Ken at home and helped me to recover long enough for us to get some last-minute Easter baskets for our girls. Walmart the day before Easter is um...interesting.

For our Sunday date, we went to the movies. There are so many coming out that we want to see. This time we saw the Fate of the Furious. Ken really likes the Fast and Furious movies. The newest one was pretty good. Jason Statham playing super nanny, rescuing a baby while shooting a bunch of bad guys was hilarious.

Well, I am ready to relax and get some time with my husband. Have a wonderful weekend!!
