3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

For an indoor wedding, no matter what time of year, you can never go wrong with a Black Formal Dresses. An elegant knee-length cocktail dress, like this FAIRY COUPLE Women's Off the Shoulder Lace Vintage Wedding Party Cocktail Dress is perfect for a black-tie optional indoor wedding, while a sleeveless o…

Snapshots from the Week

Hey guys! I hope you had a great week and are enjoying your weekend so far.🙂 I'm a bit late on this post, because I had to rest yesterday. That's what I get for thinking I could go from my simple physical therapy workout to 40 planks and pikes and 20 side planks without some consequences. I did however recover well enough to enjoy a date with my husband last night, and we've enjoyed some time off this week as well.

We had a very nice midweek lunch at Lassalle's downtown Tulsa. I really need to do a separate post on that place. It's so amazing for several reasons, like their pralines! Last night we had Pei Wei before our movie date. It's another favorite, especially whenever we're in a hurry and don't have time for a restaurant with wait time. If you like sushi, you absolutely must try their Kun Pao Shrimp Roll. It's so amazing that I actually finished my food before Ken, which very rarely happens as I'm the world's slowest eater.

After dinner we saw The Circle. It's getting mixed reviews, but we both thoroughly enjoyed it. It's the type of movie that gets your head spinning and sparks conversation long after. And despite some of the reviews, it isn't about just one aspect of the right privacy or the social world or communication or accountability. It's about all of those things, and it displays both the pros and cons of both sides of each of those issues. One of my favorite parts was after Emma Watson's character goes live 24/7 and says to her followers, as she brushes her teeth, that if they're watching and enjoying it, she's worried about them. There were much more deep parts of the film I'd love to address, but hey, it's Saturday morning...I've got my coffee, the rain is pitter-pattering against our bedroom window. So time to wrap this up and enjoy the weekend with my love.💕

  1. The food looks delicious! It's hard to find ethnic food here in Rome so I'm drooling over your pics right now.
