Blogger Style NYFW SS 2018

I've been doing this post for several years now, and you guys always seem to love it more than any other fashion post, so here we go again for the most recent fashion week in New York! Some of my favorite American designers; like Michael Kors, Zac Posen, Tori Burch, and Rachel Zoe had sme amazing spring / summer 2018 collections. But I also love to see the street style, because it fits in with the current fashion season, and well, because it's so fun! Pictured above: KERRently by Courtney Kerr

This year it seemed as if everyone went to fashion week. Usually I have to look and look and look for enough outfits to fill up my post. This year, however, I had to majorly narrow down my picks. Everyone went, and everyone wore multiple outfits a day!

3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

For an indoor wedding, no matter what time of year, you can never go wrong with Black Formal Dresses. A knee-length black cocktail dress is perfect for a black-tie optional indoor wedding, while a sleeveless or strapless full-length gown is better for a formal evening wedding.

For an outdoor formal wedding, simply follow the same guidelines with the length of the gown. For a black tie outdoor wedding, stick with a long gown, for example. Something strapless and chiffon is perfect.

For a dressy-casual outdoor wedding, you can go with just about any cocktail dress above the knee, or pair a nice skirt with a blouse. It has even become acceptable, and even trendy, to wear a dressy jumpsuit to a dressy-casual or black tie optional wedding. Whether you go with a jumpsuit, cocktail dress, or gown; try something with light, flowy fabric like one of the strapless or sleeveless chiffon gowns at Formaldressaustralia, and go for lighter colors.

Beach weddings are also very popular for summer and can be quite fun to dress for. You can stick with a knee-length cocktail dress for just about any dressy-casual wedding, including a beach wedding. But a seaside ceremony is the perfect opportunity for a flowing hi-low dress. The one pictured above is the best buy, because you could dress it up with jewelry for a more formal seaside wedding, or you could dress it down for a casual beach wedding. Best of all, you can wear it afterwards for any dressy-casual occasion. With a pair of flat gladiator sandals and some boho-chic jewelry, this one looks like the perfect vacation dress.

And whether you go with a gown, hi-low, or mid-length dress; you can in on the season's hottest trend with one of these off-the-shoulder looks.

Do you have any summer weddings to attend? Which look is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
