3 Looks for a Summer Wedding

It seems not too long ago when I shared three looks to wear to a spring wedding. But that season has come and gone so quickly, and summer is upon us. And it is the biggest season of the year for weddings, so chances are you have a few invites and may be wondering what to wear. It's pretty easy to figure out summer wedding attire if you keep the location in mind.

Of course you have the invite to start with as well. It should say "Black Tie Attire" or "Black Tie Optional" or perhaps something like "Formal Beach Attire," and it will have the ceremony time. Generally indoor evening weddings call for more formal attire than outdoor afternoon weddings.

For an indoor wedding, no matter what time of year, you can never go wrong with a Black Formal Dresses. Hotel Luxury at Home

If you've been following along on the blog this year, you know how much my husband and I like to get away for a night here and there. We pick a local hotel and have a mini stay-cation, away from home. These little getaways provide time away from chores, bills, kids, and pets; so we can relax and just enjoy time with each other.

With each hotel stay, my husband and I have noticed that we tend to enjoy the same elements of luxury no matter which place we're at. Things like fluffy white towels, black-out shades, in-room coffee, a nice shower head, and of course those little bottles of shampoo.

But what really makes our stays feel luxurious and relaxing are the beds. They all have these things in common - a soft pillow top on the mattress, several king-size down pillows, and a fluffy white duvet (perfect for a #goodmorning Instagram). It's an amazing way to relax and get a good night's sleep. It's an even more amazing way to enjoy the next morning, in bed with some magazines and coffee and of course some extra time to snuggle in peace and quiet.

After our last hotel stay, I was thinking and turned to Ken and said, "You know, some of the things we love most about all of these hotels are things we could recreate at home with the right products." Things like the black-out curtain panels, for example, would make it easier for us to sleep in if we wanted to on the weekends. Some upgraded towels and those terry cloth bath mats would elevate our master bath. And top on my list was a quality duvet...more specifically, a white one. It looks clean and crisp and instantly gives off a hotel vibe.

The one pictured here is courtesy of Serena & Lily, and it's perfect. The links design adds just enough interest and comes in several different shades. Ken and I went with the "French Blue" Savoy Embroidered Duvet Cover. They just happened to be having a sale on all of their bedding through June 15th. Use the coupon code DREAMWORTHY for 20% off any bedding; including beds, headboards, and cribs. While you're browsing Serena & Lily, take a quick peak at the Savoy Links duvet cover and let me know in the comments below which color you would pick!
