KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to KCL Friday Finds! Today's shopping guide is full of affordable beauty-themed stocking stuffers. Don't get me wrong, I love to get candy and chocolates in my stocking, but I also love other gifts, like a cute new pair of socks and especially little beauty products.

A beauty stocking stuffer doesn't have to cost a lot. Between individual sheets masks and bath bombs  to lip balm and nail polish, you can find so many great options under $10. Several options below are even under $5.

The most universal of stocking stuffers, aside from candy, is lip balm. When given as a gift, go with something more luxurious than a Cherry Chapstick from the grocery store. My favorite lip balms at Bua Organics are all-natural and organic and come in options like Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, and Jojoba Oil. For a moisturizing lip balm with the addition of a fun scent, try Einstein Bath Co., for flavors like Sangria, Marshmallow, and Pink Frosting.

A wonderful way to give a luxury beauty…

Target's New Fashion Line!

Set to launch in February, Target's new in-house label Universal Thread is an "exclusive women’s lifestyle brand that’s grounded in denim and features tops, dresses, accessories and shoes." The new Target-owned line is very affordable, with prices ranging from $5 to $39.99...very low pricing, even for Target. It's also the first time Target has introduced such a wide range of sizes in one collection, including 00-26W.

The debut collection by Universal Thread is a down-to-earth but chic, everyday look. The neutral accessories go perfectly with the blue denim and are perfect for transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring.

When asked why the brand is so focused on denim, Target's Executive Vice President, Mark Tritton said, "Denim is a part of every woman’s wardrobe, and with fewer options in the marketplace and learnings from the brands we’ve recently launched, we’re excited to bring our guests a lifestyle brand rooted in denim that’s also an amazing everyday value. This brand is all about ideas and outfits, not just items."

You can read more about the new line on the Target blog A Bullseye View. What do you think of the collection? Let me know in the comments below!

  2. You know, I never really found anything that wowed me at Target, until I was pregnant and began shopping there more for belly bands and pieces for Aviah (I LOVE their baby clothes!). They really have some cute pieces and their selections seem to be getting better and better. Now, I have another collection to look forward to checking out. I love the concept and diversity that's represented. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week ahead, beauty!

    1. I've really loved their clothes for a few years now...especially the collabs. Though their collaborative lines are sometimes expensive, this in-house brand is so affordable! And definitely...I love the diversity in the sizes and the ads!!:)
