KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend!! I've got another round up of beautiful home decor items for you guys today. It hasn't been intentional, it just so happens that the Friday Finds participants have all been home decor shops lately, and I'm loving it! With Spring coming up soon, it's the perfect time to spruce things up around the house and update your decor for the new season. Pictured: Geometric Pineapple Jewelry Holder/Home Accessory

First up is something we could all use more of in our homes - hygge by Snygge Home (pronounced snoo-gue). Snygge is a play on the danish word hygge that I'm sure you've heard of by now...or at least seen and thought what is hygge anyway? Hygge is "a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being." You can read more about it on Hygge Home.

At Snygge Home, owner Alice and her boyfriend Jack create hygge-inspired homeware, gifts, and event decorations using 3D printing. And like most E…

KCL Friday Finds

I'm pretty excited about this week's always. I keep wondering if I'm ever going to run out of great small businesses to feature, but I'm beginning to think that won't be a problem. Each week brings new shops and the most amazing new finds. And now that Valentine's Day has come and gone, I am all about Spring! I know, it's still cold here and there, but we can enjoy the remaining cold days by looking forward to fresh flowers and all-things-Spring. Today's finds is entirely about home decor...not something I planned intentionally this time. It just wound up that way, and I couldn't be happier. These shops have all you need to give your home a cheery refresh. Enjoy!

This first one is one of the top home decor trends for 2018. With macrame and fiber art exploding in the world of home decor last year, I'm happy to see it continuing into 2018. The beautiful pieces at Spinning Weaves are woven and include the most beautiful colors and patterns that would be perfect in a chic and colorful modern space. I love the design on this  Geometric Woven Wall Hanging, though I also love the added fringe on this Grey and White Woven Wall Hanging pictured above. If you've been interested in the fiber art decor trend, you should finally go for it! There are so many cute color combinations at Spinning Weaves, and this weekend only, you can enjoy FREE SHIPPING in the U.S.!

Another top home decor trend this year is Modern Farmhouse Style. A great way to incorporate the trend into any look is with a decorative wooden sign. At My Craft Shed each sign is 100% hand made. I love the rustic look on this "Our Nest" Distressed Wooden Sign pictured above. Another top pick from My Craft Shed is the "this is our happy place" Framed Wooden Sign. Any of these wooden signs would be great in a family room of kitchen, and they'd also be great on a gallery wall, mixed in with family photos. I've got a special promo code just for you KCL shoppers. Use kcl18 for 10% OFF any purchase!

The next major holiday on the horizon is Easter. Whether you need a beautiful hostess gift or just want some pretty new Spring decor, you'll find the most beautiful candles at Mr. Toad's House of Wax. They offer eco-friendly, soy wax luxury candles that come in the most elegant packaging. You can see all of the current spring designs in the Easter candles. My top pick is this lovely Peter Rabbit and Friends 16oz Mason Jar Soy Candle. With the vintage-inspired labels, velvet ribbon, and jeweled embellishments, I just can't get over how pretty this packaging is. In addition to the scented candles, you can find some equally beautiful reed diffuser scents at Mr. Toad's House of Wax. You pretty much owe it to yourself to get at least one thing from this least one, maybe two!

For all my fellow bloggers, influencers, and/or shop owners; this next shop Mum & Me Handmade Designs has everything you need to get organized this year. More clearly defined tasks are much more likely to be accomplished. I know I could certainly use a daily desktop organizer, like this Weekly Notepad Planner. Along with the chic office supplies and stationary, you'll see that there is a lot of cute decor as well, like coffee mugs and prints. Whether you want some thank you notes or a chic new print for your work space, now is the time to shop, so you can take advantage of the 15% off Sale for the rest of February. Use coupon code: FEBLOVE15.

You guys know I love my candles...clearly, considering there are two in this post. The candles at Lit Up Illuminations caught me eye because they're eco-friendly and come in some very interesting scents. Made with empty bottles collected from local events and made with natural soy wax, the candles at Lit Up Illuminations are good for the environment. The candles come in several different scent collections, from their earthy "Lumberjack" scents like Tobacco Caramel and Teakwood + Cardamom to the herbal Aromathery Collection including Eucalyptus Spearmint and Lavender Vetiver. I'm especially excited to try the Lavender Vetiver with rose, jasmine and lavender blooms topped with citrus notes, grounded in warm musk and sweet sandalwood. You can find some fresh, clean scented candles as well as some fruity scents too. Though currently sold out, Lit Up Illuminations also has some seasonal candles for Fall and Christmas! Be sure to check out each of their collections.

I hope you've all had a great week and enjoy these lovely shops. Use the links below to browse around, and have a wonderful weekend!
