KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend!! I've got another round up of beautiful home decor items for you guys today. It hasn't been intentional, it just so happens that the Friday Finds participants have all been home decor shops lately, and I'm loving it! With Spring coming up soon, it's the perfect time to spruce things up around the house and update your decor for the new season. Pictured: Geometric Pineapple Jewelry Holder/Home Accessory

First up is something we could all use more of in our homes - hygge by Snygge Home (pronounced snoo-gue). Snygge is a play on the danish word hygge that I'm sure you've heard of by now...or at least seen and thought what is hygge anyway? Hygge is "a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being." You can read more about it on Hygge Home.

Blogger Style: From London to Milan

I've been pleasantly surprised by the increased number of bloggers attending fashion week this year. So many of my favorite top bloggers were at NYFW this February, and most of them have continued on to London, Milan, and Paris. (The Paris street style will be in a new post next week!)

As I mentioned in the NYFW post, the fashion industry has previously speculated on whether the influence of the fashion blogger has reached its peak, or if bloggers should have a real place at fashion week at all. This fashion season has proved that influencers have gained a strong and permanent place in the world of fashion, especially when it comes to social media. Big fashion houses in fact built their campaigns around some of these bloggers. Proenza Schouler, for example, chose to debut their new fragrance at a blogger event during fashion week. And it's quite common for bigger bloggers, like Aimee Song, to go for a fitting to pick out a piece from a designer's showroom prior to attending their show.

It's become quite clear to designers that these influencers are the new industry leaders in setting the trends. I does make me wonder where the world of editorial fashion and media is headed. Though for now, it makes for an incredibly beautiful Instagram feed during fashion week! Let me know which look are your favorite, in the comments below! Pictured above: @margoandme
