25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. I know it's pretty much the most generic costume in history, but for good reason - it's just so easy and affordable. Essie Spring 2018

I am a total nail polish junkie, which you guys probably already know if you follow on Instagram...specifically when it comes to essie! They always have the prettiest colors, not to mention fun names. I've recently tried the essie Treat, Love, and Color line; though I've yet to test the essie gel couture. I hear that the gel couture really does deliver on its promise of a long-lasting formula. Though I'm still a huge fan of the original essie formula.

The new essie Spring 2018 collection "bon boy-age" is full of nautical-inspired shades like Anchor Down, At the Helm, and my recent favorite Perfect Mate (pictured above). Perfect Mate is a gorgeous coral shade of pink that has been a very nice change from my usual Spring pinks.

Stripes and Sails is a rich teal shade. I typically go for pinks and purples,
but I just might try this one.

Past-Port to Sail is a beautiful and very versatile sandy-colored beige nude.

Bon Boy-age is the perfect minty green for Spring!

You can see all of the colors available and shop the essie Spring 2018 collection. I love how the photos show how each shade looks on different skin tones. Which color is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!
