25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. I know it's pretty much the most generic costume in history, but for good reason - it's just so easy and affordable. It's the perfect last-minute costume for women, because you could really use any black outfit even if you don't have a little black dress. Pair it with your black flats or heels and a…

KCL Friday Finds

Hey guys! I am excited, as always, to share some new finds with you today. Things have been busy at KCL with so many great Mother's Day recommendations, the Mother's Day Gift Guide and Giveaway, and the new KCL Monthly Beauty Edit. I'll leave links to all of those below. But first, let's check out some fresh picks. So grab a cup of coffee, pretend you're working, and enjoy some online shopping! 😉

The first is one of the new beauty items I'm testing for May, and I'm so excited about it!
S.A. Plunkett Naturals is a small-batch, handcrafted natural bath and body shop. Owner Sally Plunkett, is a native Oregonian with a love for nature and passion for learning and creating.

At S.A. Plunkett Naturals, each product carefully crafted with a complex combination of all-natural and very effective ingredients. The packaging is just as impressive! I'm currently testing the Facial Gift Set, which was customized with a Cacoa & Lavender facial mask. Along with the Green Tea & Rosehip Facial Oil, I'm also testing the Lavender and Charcoal Clarifying Facial Soap. I absolutely love to use charcoal products on my face for a deep clean and reducing my blackheads, and I'm definitely loving the facial oil as well. I really look forward to giving these a thorough review in the next KCL Beauty Edit! In the meantime, if you guys want to try any of these products with me, check out the full line of facial oils, masks, and more. There is such a nice selection at S.A. Plunkett Naturals, and the prices are very affordable too!

This next shop combines two things I love - crystals and boho-chic vibes! At Shine Designs you can find a large assortment of jewelry that is perfect for spring and summer. With so many gorgeous crystal necklaces, as well as the beautiful tassel and feather earrings, you can bet you'll see this shop in my KCL Summer Style Edit!

From the feathers to the raw quartz crystals, Roxanne at Shine Designs uses only natural materials to create these 100% hand-crafted pieces. One of my favorites would have to be these Raw Crystal Quartz Hoop earrings pictured above. If you want to add a little boho-chic to your summer wardrobe, this shop is the way to go!

Though we aren't quite into summer just yet, even though it may feel like it some days. So I'm still all about the spring style as well. An accessory like a cute clutch is the perfect way to update your spring looks, and at Cotton Stitch, you can find a number of beautiful floral prints! I am absolutely loving this floral print ruffled clutch pictured above. It's just big enough to hold all of the essentials, and it has little pockets for ID's and credit cards. If you love the design as much as I do, be sure to stay tuned, because she will have more available in additional prints. This ruffled clutch in a rain forest print for example, would work well for both spring and summer.

Whether you love florals or prefer other patterns, you'll want to check out all of the designs at Cotton Stitch. There are so many beautiful prints and several different size options. From the wallets and mini zip pouches to these perfect little purse organizers, you can get organized in style. Take 10% OFF your first order with code INSTA10!

Moving on from fashion and beauty, these next few shops are all about home decor. You guys know I love a great wooden sign, and I know everyone is still obsessed with the modern farmhouse look. So anytime I can feature a shop like this, I jump at the chance!

At Harperism Design Co. the decorative signs are a combination of rustic frames and modern lettering, which is perfect for the modern farmhouse look. You can pick from larger signs for hanging individually, like this Think Happy Thoughts Sign, or smaller signs like this 12 by 12 Home Sweet Home Sign that you can cluster with similar matching designs. My other favorite from Harperism Design Co. is this You Make Me Happy Wooden Sign pictured above. I always think it would be great to cluster family photos or wedding photos on a wall with several of these sweet sayings.

For a beautiful Spring update, try something from Jill Zeidler Ceramic Art. I've been attracted to a lot of the handmade pottery shops on Etsy lately, but this particular shop isn't full of the typical dark brown mugs. Not that there is anything wrong with those, but in contrast, the pretty pastels by Jill Zeidler are a breath of fresh air.

You can spruce up just about any room in your home with her handcrafted ceramics, as she sells a wide variety of kitchenware, in addition to decorative accessories like jewelry dishes and this Modern Flower Vase. My personal favorite is the pretty pastel brush strokes Scalloped Serving Dish though for Spring and summer, you can beautifully dress up your table setting with this blue bird plate pictured above. If you love all of the designs as much as I do, you can select a variety so you can mix and match!

This last shop is another that I had the pleasure of testing out this week, and I LOVE it! I maybe should have sampled one of the more Spring-scented candles for you guys, but my husband and I were both intrigued by the Cedar + Vanilla Candle. And we were not disappointed one bit. I kept saying, "This smells so just smells so good" as I was trying to describe what I loved about it so much. Then I finally said, "This smells like an expensive candle." And by that I mean that it smells like a perfumed luxury candle...the kind you find in a department store or a fancy little boutique. Though those unfortunately tend to give both me and my husband headaches because of the artificial scent and paraffin wax. At Classy Wicks however, they use all-natural soy wax and essential oil fragrances.

Their candles come in both 4oz. tins and 7.2oz. jars, both with lids and a pretty label. Priced under $20 with a burn time of 50+ hours in the jar candles, the price is just right. Check out all of their different candle scents and through May 14th take 10% OFF with code MOTHERSDAY!

I hope you've enjoyed today's Friday Finds! These are all such pretty shops, don't you think? Leave me a comment below, and explore the links to browse through each of these stores. Have a happy weekend!
