25 Halloween Costumes w/Your LBD

The easiest way to create a last-minute or inexpensive Halloween costume is to start with things you already have. I do it every year, because I get so frustrated with how expensive yet poorly-made most Halloween costumes are. I'd rather use what is already in my closet, or spend a little extra on accessories or a new dress that I can wear anytime of the year. A little black dress is the easiest way to use what you have to create a Halloween costume with a few inexpensive accessories and other accessories you probably already have in your closet.Pictured Above: Halloween Black Mesh Dress

1. Black Cat - This is the easiest way to use your little black dress on Halloween. I know it's pretty much the most generic costume in history, but for good reason - it's just so easy and affordable. It's the perfect last-minute costume for women, because you could really use any black outfit even if you don't have a little black dress. Pair it with your black flats or heels and a…

My Anti-Aging Skincare Routine

There are several things I look for in a great skincare line, from brightening to blemish-fighting to firming. Though lately my biggest skin issue has been my deep wrinkles under my eyes and around my laugh lines. I've enjoyed some really great brightening and antioxidant-rich products this year, but I've been in need of a more effective wrinkle-fighting skincare brand.

Honestly guys, I'm nearing 40 years old. When I was closer to 30, all it would take is a week of some retinol cream, and I'd look ten years younger. But now I'm finding it's a lot harder make those deep wrinkles go away. I've had some success recently with a combination of peptides, botanicals, hyaluronic serum; and most of all consistency, with these incredible products from LHB Natural Skincare.

My absolute must-have item from LHB is the Mature Skin Serum, made with a marine botanical called Antarcticine. This powerhouse anti-aging ingredient stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin, which helps restructure the skin to leave it looking smoother while decreasing wrinkle depth. I have to say, I've seen a noticeable decrease in deep wrinkles on my face and neck after just a few weeks of using the Mature Skin Serum. This product is also loaded with hyaluronic acid and various botanicals that really help to deliver a large amount of moisture without being harsh or too heavy. You can check out the product description to learn more on the ingredients, including the "Magic 7 Botanical Extracts" in the Mature Skin Serum.

Now, if you don't struggle with deep wrinkles just yet, I'd suggest you focus on a great face wash and day cream. The Coconut & Sea Clay Mineral Face Wash by LHB has been such a treat for my skin! I highly suggest it for any skin type, but every time I use it, I can't help but think how perfect it would be for someone...well, much younger than me. If, for example, you have 20-year old skin and you really just need a great daily face wash that isn't harsh but will remove all of your makeup, this is the one to try! The clay absorbs all of the dirt, sweat, and makeup; while the coconut oil leaves just the right amount of moisture. If I still had my 20-something year old skin, I'd use this coconut oil face wash in the morning and just finish off my look with some sunscreen and tinted moisturizer for a beautiful, fresh glow.

You can see exactly how I used each of these products in the video below, and I'll give an in-depth review in the new KCL Beauty Edit, so be sure to subscribe to keep up with those!
