KCL Friday Finds

Happy weekend, and welcome to Friday Finds! Today it's all about holiday hostess gifts. It about the time when you may have several seasonal parties and functions to attend, and you should never show up empty-handed. The best hostess gift should be something just for the hostess that he or she can use at a later time, either for entertaining or just for themselves. Just because you may have been assigned a side dish or drinks, you should still being along a special hostess gift.

A hostess gift doesn't need to cost a lot. They can range anywhere from $10-$25, and really should be on average $20. There are so many appropriate options in this price range - anything from a set of tea towels to a cookbook, or something gourmet, or even a little bath and body gift. If you need a hostess gift for a party or dinner this holiday season, you can't go wrong with one of the picks below.

This first one is my favorite, because it's a versatile multi-use item, and it's so chic. …

KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to Friday Finds! I hope you've had a good week. I've got some wonderful products featured today that are all perfect for a relaxing weekend. From bath bombs and luxury scented candles to body scrub and nourishing body butter, these shops have just what you need for the perfect spa night. Best of all, they are each small businesses with a passion for their products as well as their customers. It's definitely some online shopping you can feel good about. Enjoy! Nihilisme Beauty  |  At Nihilisme Beauty you can find handmade all-natural bath products made with high-quality essential oils. Owner and creator Ursula has always had a love for bath and beauty products, but has always had very sensitive skin and has been very sensitive to chemical smells. A huge part of her mission as a business owner is to make sure her products are soothing for people with sensitive skin. She has a big heart for furry friends as well. Beginning next month, this shop will be donating a percentage of their profits to their local Santa Fe Humane Society, which is a no-kill shelter.

Personally I'm thrilled to find brands that offer natural skincare. Even more so, I'm happy to find ones that offer all-natural bath products for kids too. Two of our kiddos have allergies and extremely sensitive skin, one with eczema, so it can be hard to find scented products that they can actually use. Nihilisme Beauty carries a variety of bath bombs in fun scents like Birthday Cake and the beautiful Mermaid Coconut Orchid pictured above. If you prefer showers to baths, you can also get some great aromatherapy shower tablets. My family and I will be trying out some of these products, so keep an eye out on KCL Beauty!

SoCoco Candles  |  At SoCoco, you can find luxury scented candles that are hand-poured and made with 100% natural coconut wax. Their candles are scented with essential oils, made with lead-free cotton wicks, and all of thier products are phthalate-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free. Available in 7oz. lidded jars or golden travel-size tins, the packaging is simple and elegant. You can get most of their scents in natural soy wax melts as well, and room & linen sprays are coming soon. You're definitely going to want to bookmark this site for gift shopping!

One of their best-selling fragrances is Fresh Cut Roses. Customer reviews boast it as the most authentic rose scent that truly smells like a freshly cut bouquet of roses. I know would certainly love to try this scent, as roses are very near and dear to my heart. My husband gave me two dozen roses on our second date, and more roses many times after. Naturally, we featured roses in our wedding. For a romantic and luxurious gift, you can pair the Fresh Cut Roses scent with the SoCoco Forbidden Passion candle - a seductive aroma of fresh fig combined with the fragrant passion of honeysuckle and a sophisticated citrus blend of grapefruit and mint. For Fall, I definitely want to try several of their other scents; like Hazelnut Whiskey, Spiced Cranberry, and Spiced Bourbon Pecan.

Mother of Earth Beauty Care  |  MOE Beauty Care has got you covered for a relaxing evening. From their moisturizing body butters and body oil to their body scrubs made with all natural ingredients like Organic Coconut oil, Vitamin E oil and honey. I could certainly drift off into a restful sleep after using their best-selling Lavender Dreams Body Butter. The powerhouse ingredient in the MOE body butters is shea butter, which is a natural antioxidant as it helps clear stretch marks and dark spots. It also helps fight eczema and dry skin as it naturally contains Vitamin E and Vitamin A. I can say from personal experience that shea butter is one of my favorite skincare ingredients, as it's so incredibly moisturizing!

For maximum moisture and really beautiful skin, start with some exfoliation. This Sweet Vanilla Body Scrub as well as the Citrus Blast Body Scrub would each go so well with the lavender scented body butter. Though the citrus scrub, made with Himalayan Pink Salt, is best for oily skin; and the vanilla scrub, made with brown sugar, is best for dry and/or sensitive skin. Whichever your skin type, you guys can take 30% OFF between now and next Friday! Thanks so much to the owner for offering such a generous discount. Make sure you take advantage of it this week. Use code 30OFF on your order.

I'd say each of these beautiful brands has definitely got you covered for the most relaxing #selfcare weekend indeed. Draw a bath with an aromatherapy bath bomb from Nihilisme Beauty, light a scented candle from SoCoco, and finish off with some nourishing lavender body butter from MOE. If you need some reading material while you're relaxing, might I suggest what I'm currently reading Awakened by Fireflies.
