KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to a brand new Friday Finds! I hope you enjoyed this month's Fall beauty edit that I shared earlier this week, and I look forward to sharing more seasonal beauty picks as well as more Fall fashion and holiday decor. This week's picks include a wide variety; from the cutest Halloween dog toy and Halloween mugs and as always some wonderful beauty picks for the perfect relaxing weekend. I don't know how the weather is where you're at, but for us, the air is chilly and we have been having so many grey rainy days. It's the perfect weather for staying in and shopping online. Enjoy!

First, let's look at that adorable Halloween dog toy. At Sweet Beest, where they design pet toys for the modern home, you'll find a nice selection of rope tug toys and fun squeaky toys. Inspired by a love of their pets, home decor, and textiles; the products at Sweet Beest are designed with modern patterns, high-quality fabrics, and natural materials that are better for your p…

KCL Friday Finds

Welcome to Friday Finds! I hope you've had a very lovely first week of Autumn. I've been thoroughly enjoying it, as my honey picked up a pumpkin, we stocked up on pumpkin coffee, and the kiddos made some pumpkin spice Rice Krispie Treats. You can get the recipe for that right here >.

In addition to the yummy Fall treats, we've been very much enjoying some cooler weather lately, and I've been so busy booking up for Fall beauty and fashion guides. While there will be a big Fall Beauty Guide next month, along with plenty of individual blog posts for the new season, you can see many Fall themed goodies on KCL Friday Finds each week too. From warm and spicy aromatherapy perfumes to bold new lip colors and the perfect pumpkin scented bodycare, this week is giving me all the Fall vibes. Happy shopping!

Something I love to update for Autumn are my fragrances; whether it be a scented candle, air freshener, or a perfume. Adoratherapy offers a natural and cruelty-free alternative to room sprays and perfumes with their essential oil based mood-boosting aromatherapy fragrances. Their popular Room Boost, a collection of all-natural aromatherapy room sprays that are like "feng shui for your mood" come in scents like Blissful and Serene. Also available in smaller travel sizes, scents like the Passion room boost is perfect to take along on a romantic vacation.

For the big KCL Fall Beauty Edit, I'll be reviewing the new Chakra Spice Collection - unisex roll-on fragrances comprised of uniquely- formulated blends of essential oils, gem and flower essences, and organic jojoba blends. With warm seasonal combinations like sandalwood, ginger, and clove and blood orange, geranium and jasmine; I'm very much looking forward to trying this collection. You can check them out on the beauty edit in October, and go ahead and shop in the meantime.

With the holiday season coming up, you'll want to check out their incredible aromatherapy gift sets. Whether you shop for yourself or for a gift, you can receive a complimentary Mini Mood Boost, valued at $12.00, when you order $50.00 or more!

For a gorgeous Fall makeup fix, I'm happy to introduce you to Puckerd Cosmetics. Owner Sylvia K-Russel has been forcing her way through to the top, building relationships through beauty, and connecting women with powerful and bold lipsticks that help encourage and empower.

At Puckerd you can find the most beautiful lip plumping shine gloss, a waterproof creamy lip liner, bold liquid matte lipsticks, and more. Their liquid lipstick is made with three times more pigment than any other liquid lipstick on the market, and it stays put for hours! If you prefer a more glossy look, try one of their anti-aging hydrating lip colors. And if you like your lipstick on the matte side but with some shine to it, their metallic liquid lipstick is just the thing. Made with fine micro glitters, the Puckerd Metallic Lipsticks provide a bold metallic shine combined with their signature velvety matte finish.

While Puckerd Cosmetics already had several bold liquid lipsticks that are beautiful for the season, they also have a few newly released lip colors for Fall 2018 (pictured above). From their bold black "Knight" shade that is perfect for a Halloween beauty look, to several new neutral shades for everyday wear, they have something for everyone, so be sure to check out their new Fall lip colors and enjoy Free Shipping on order of $50 or more!

The next two shops have you completely covered for a cozy self-care weekend or any autumn hostess gifts you may need. In the Buff Handcrafted Soaps, for example, has the most incredible new collection of Fall soap bars. Owner Tiffany makes all of her soaps by hand in small batches, and all of her soaps are made with plant-based ingredients and are vegan and cruelty-free. Made with more than just the scents in mind (though they do have some incredible scents), In the Buff Handcrafted Soaps contain healthy ingredients like shea butter, moisturizing oils, oatmeal, almond milk, honey, and more.

What I'm currently most interested in are their new Autumn scents; like Autumn Breeze, Pumpkin Spice Beer, and Warm Flannel. The Pumpkin Spice Beer soap has a pumpkin scent that smells like "pumpkin pie with a side of beer." The Warm Flannel Soap, in addition to the super cute name, has beautiful red tones and is made with a warm blend of bergamot, mahogany, and musk. Oatmeal and honey are added to the recipe to keep your skin moisturized during the dry winter weather.

For the perfect seasonal gift, pair these two with In the Buff's Autumn Breeze Soap, which serves as a reminder of the crisp and warm scent in the air during a cozy Fall walk. With notes of sandalwood, patchouli, freshly fallen leaves, and floral notes of orchid; it has an earthy and woodsy scent. On each of their soaps, you'll see the lovely logo imprinted, which makes them all the more gift-worthy. Shipping is just a $5 flat-rate, so you'll want to stock up!

Finally, I am so happy to share this last brand with you. At Lisa32 Skin Care, they believe that what you put ON your body should be as important as what you put IN your body, and they believe in the power of nature. I couldn't agree more. Owner Lisa strives to create products that are designed to benefit your life in a natural, effective, and safer alternative by developing products with little to no synthetics and with natural and organic ingredients that are potent enough to garner results, but are gentle enough to use everyday.

I'm currently testing several of her products, from an Autumn Apple Body Scrub to a Natural Pain Relieving Gel, and can't wait to share them all with you on Insta and on the blog. I'll be reviewing her Pumpkin Cheesecake lip butter on the KCL Fall Beauty Edit. Considering it's scented with cardamom, ground cinnamon, Vermont maple, pumpkin, whipped cream, caramelized sugar, and French vanilla...um, I'm pretty sure I'm going to LOVE it! Paired with her popular Coconut Pumpkin Latte Body Butter, it would make for the perfect Autumn hostess gift. Her rich body butter is available in other seasonal scents like Cranberry Bliss and Spiced Cranberry. 😍

Stay tuned on Insta this weekend to see my review of her Radiant and Clear enzyme facial mask for #selfcaresaturday. Whether you shop their facial care, body care, or new Autumn-scented bath products; you get Free Shipping on orders over $50, so you'll definitely want to grab several things from Lisa32 Skin Care!

Thanks again for stopping by for another Friday Finds. I'm still amazed that I never run out of new brands to share on KCL. I truly love these unique finds by women-owned small businesses, as I myself am a small business and know what it's like to juggle everything. Let's support each other this season by shopping #womenowned and by shopping small. You can browse each of these beautiful brands with the links below, and please leave me a comment before you go. Have a wonderful weekend!
